Alan Tong, Denturist
Alan Tong has been working in dental health for almost three decades. Trained in 1984 as a dental technician at the Metropolitan University of Manchester in Britain, Alan then went on to complete two years of post-graduate specialist training in orthodontics and crowns and bridges.
Alan spent over ten years working in dental hospital settings in Europe and Asia, first at the Manchester University Dental Hospital, then at the Birmingham University Dental Hospital and finally at the Northwest Armed Forces Hospital.
He settled in Vancouver in the mid-1990s, registering as a Dental Technician in BC in 1997 and receiving his BC Denturist license in 2003. He has also furthered his dental training at the Vancouver Community College to keep his skills and expertise current with evolving dental technology.
Alan’s passion is providing his patients with personalized denture treatments including complete dentures, cast partial dentures, and dentures over implants.
