Dr. Claribel Floreta
Dr. Floreta has extensive experience in both general and cosmetic dentistry. She has effectively and professionally served a range of dental clients, including those with fear of dental procedures. Fun with children and calming with adults, she provides quality care with a gentle touch.
Dr. Floreta’s career as a dentist has spanned several decades and multiple continents. She graduated with a Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from the University of the East in Manila in 1984. Soon after she began a career as a military dentist in Saudi Arabia during the Gulf War, serving military personnel, hospital staff and their families. Her work gave her the opportunity to work with many international and multicultural patients alongside colleagues from Belgium, Britain, Canada, Holland, Ireland, Sweden and the United States.
After settling in Vancouver in 1996, Dr. Floreta attended post-graduate studies at the University of Western Ontario in 1999. She completed the National Dental Examining Board and received her BC Dental License in 2003. She keeps up-to-date with the latest treatments and research in dentistry by participating in various dental study clubs and seminars, including the Vancouver and District Dental Society, International Straight Wire and Orthopedic Seminars, the Periowave Laser Treatment and the Chrysalis Dental Implant Study Club. Her pursuit of lifelong learning is part of her commitment to providing the best ongoing care to her patients.
